No it's not hard. Flexibility is more important than strength and it is more mental than physical. We have taught 7-70 year olds.

Seven Kiteboarding offers quality Private Instruction in ideal conditions in the Florida Keys.

Private Lessons of 1 or 2 people help to ensure the best possible instruction.
Our professional kite instructors have lessons for all kiters- beginners to advanced.
All lessons are boat or Jet Ski supported. This ensures your safety and the safety of our instructors.
We have been teaching kiting since 1999 and have all the knowledge and gear to get you kiteboarding in no time.

We also have a prime location- Whale Harbor Marina at mile marker 83.8 in Islamorada, where you can launch right from the beach and kiting over some pretty sweet sandbars.

 

 

 

​Beginners start on the beach, getting instructions with one hour of ground school. After picking out the right gear for you, you'll head to the sandbar, which is about knee to waist deep water.
You will learn to fly the kite there and then go into body dragging with the kite. The last step involves putting the board on your feet and learning how to ride with the kite.​


The experience is about a 3 hour total (2 hours flying the kite) for $300.

You can add an additional hour for $100 and/or an extra person for $100.

Intermediate and Advanced lessons for $150/hr.
